I purchased two of these phone sets at the local Office Depot in November 2011; One set was for personal use, the other was for a Christmas gift. By the middle of January, the phone set, which I had been fairly pleased with, began cutting off the last several seconds of incoming messages. It didn't matter if the message was 30 seconds or 3 minutes, the answering device would cut off the end of the message. I contacted ATT support about the system and they suggested I try a couple of things to address the problem. I tried what they told me, and it did not fix the problem. I returned the set to Office Depot and exchanged it for another set, thinking that the first set was simply defective. That brings me to today. It is now about a month later, and the replacement system started cutting off messages a couple of weeks ago. I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR THREE MONTHS FOR THE RIGHT AND EXACT SYSTEM I NEEDED FOR OUR NEW HOUSE. WITH ALL THE OTHER COMPETITION THE ATT UNIT WORKS AND SOUNDS GREAT. I THINK THE PRICE WAS EVEN MORE FANTASTIK!

replaced a 6 year old set where the batteries just gave up (also phones were pretty abused so not worth just replacing batteries) - this set does everything it promises and a few pleasant add-on surprises (read instructions and installation guide) - love it at a great price!
