This 5.8GHz model gives better range for bigger homes, and it is expandable just like the other model. However, the 2.4GHz is adequate for use in a WiFi home. I owned an AT&T cordless phone for about ten years, and I only paid about $50 for it at the time. The "find handset" button actually keeps beeping until you find the handset, so that it doesn't take 2 people. The phone shape is too difficult to hold between your ear and shoulder, but my chiropractor says you shouldn't do that anyway. |
