GE 2.4GHz Cordless Speakerphone w/Digital Answering System

I've owned several cordless phones in the past but this is by far the best one. I'd say this is more of a cellphone/cordless hybrid as it has about as many features as my cell phone has.

The phone is pretty much totally customizable with 4 color schemes to choose from, several ring tones and several wallpapers. Most of which I don't like but thats not that big of a deal.

You get speaker phone on the handset as well as on the base, which is a great feature. You don't have to be right at the base to use the speaker phone and both of them are fairly loud and very clear.

You can listen to as well as screen messages right from the handset. That means if you are in one room and the base is in another you can still hear people leaving messages. A great feature for us call screener's!

Handset speakerphone is loud and clear and a useful feature. Sound quality on outgoing message is poor, even after repeated re-recordings. Upright position of handset means that you need to base the phone on something at least waist high to be able to see the caller ID. Metallic finish is attractive. There is no separate "End" button, just one Talk/End button. This makes it difficult to exit out of menu options. Keypad tones and ring tones are attractive, and ring volume control is nice. If I had my choice again I'd choose a phone with Caller ID that is easier to read from above and a separate "End" button like a cellphone.

I bought this product for the handset speaker; it's less than a month and the speaker is not working.
