The GE 26730GE1 keeps your conversations sounding crisp, thanks to 900 MHz operation and 25-channel autoscan for the clearest connection. The three-line LCD works in conjunction with Caller ID/Call Waiting services (offered by most local phone companies), storing the names and numbers of the last 40 callers. The phone displays phone numbers as you dial, helping you minimize embarrassing misdials. In addition, the phone can charge while resting face down or face up, allowing you to screen calls by checking the LCD before answering.
The GE 26730GE1 has memory indexes, a digital security system, one-touch redial, a 10-number memory for frequently dialed friends, as well as chain dialing for long numbers like phone card account numbers. GE offers a one-year warranty.

Battery life is acceptable but not great. Reception is good. It has one major fault in design. The TALK button is large and placed so that if you try to hold the phone with your neck (like when retrieving a toddler from the toliet), it hangs up on your caller. All of my friends and family HATE my phone.
