A year later the base and the handsets failed, of course it occured after the 1 year warranty expired (so recieved 2 defective phones in one year). Tried to contact customer service never did speak with a person, so I used the email contact. Thier cookie cutter email answer didn't even address my concern. Not to worry I won't purchase a GE phone product again and maybe not any other of your products. I passed this pathetic attempted at customer service and poor product quality to everyone I know, because Email is a powerful thing. Obviously GE/Thomson slept during the part of business session when they said " The average "wronged" customer will tell 8 to 16 people. 91% of unhappy customers will never purchase services from you again.
