I was very satisfied with my GE Edge Cordless Phone--for a whole year. However, three weeks after the 1 Year warranty expired, I had a problem with the display screen. Whole letters or numbers or parts of same would no longer display. I purchased and installed a new battery in the phone, but it did not resolve the display problem. This phone had only light usage and was never abused in any way. It should not have failed after just one year.
