GE True Digital 21905FE4 Cordless Phone w/ Call Waiting Caller ID & Answering System + 3 additional handsets

The G.E. 21905FE4 is the worst phone system I've ever purchased. I bought it from Big Lots for $50 so it may have been a refurbish. All 4 of the handsets have gone bad in only 4 months--too late to return it! The earpiece would be crackly and distorted when I would first answer--then it might clear up a bit--then bad again. Then the people I was talking to started complaining that my voice was also very broken up and they couldn't understand me. This is not a problem with reception--it only occurs while someone is talking, so it is definitely a defect in the product itself. Lastly, it doesn't even have a speakerphone. I have since been told by experts to stay away from the G.E. products. I'm looking at Panasonic. Hope this helps save someone else from the same frustration I've been through!

i paid 49.95 + 3.99 s+h for a total of 53.94 for a defective phone. between ge and bedford power i am not getting very good service. please send me a addres to send back this phone.
