All of the numbers are together on one smooth panel with only narrow seams separating them horizontaly. Had each number been it's own separate raised key, I'd like it much better and think it would last for years. 2) The key pad is not lit. 3) I've turned the ringers off on each phone. I expected that that would make the base silent as well. Either it doesn't have this abiltiy, or I haven't figured out how to do it yet. This I find quite annoying and wonder what the point of having the option on the hand sets is. Other that these issues, I'm delighted! It's cool looking and the sound quality is fantastic. No interference with other electronics. It's slim design is a real space saver in my tiny apartment. I think it holds only 30 phone numbers, so that could be increased. All and all, I like it. The display on the handset lights up and says incoming call when there is no call, sometimes in the middle of the night. Caller ID does not work when the phone is in use and when I use flash to take another call, if the first person hangs up, the second caller is disconnected also. I called Motorola and they said this is because the phone is so sensitive the signal is not strong enough when I have a computer hooked up to the phone line even if the computer is off, as in no power going to it. This doesn't make sense. I am returning the phone. 4 of 5 people found the following review helpful: By R.C. (Canada) - See all my reviews This review is from: Motorola DECT 6.0 Cordless Phone with Answering System and 3 Handsets (Office Product) Same problem as another reviewer - "incoming call" goes on the display randomly, and whenever we hang up after a call, and also whenever i hit the caller id button.
Other annoyances are the shape of the handset make it very slippery and easy to drop, plus no belt clip. the redial button is also the volume - button - how do i redial? the slim shape makes dialing awkward. these are going back to the store... |
