What a beautiful phone you are! So sleek and minimal, I just adore looking at you. And even talking on you was a pleasure. Your tone was so clear and crisp! Your buttons were soft but also responsive. And that ring... not brassy and intrusive, but soft and inviting. "Hello? Sorry to disturb you, but you have a phone call. If you'd wish to answer it, pick up my smooth, light, velvety body and speak into my gently concave mouthpiece."
Your footprint was so tiny it was practically nonexistent. And the setup was easy, too. It was a delight to program numbers and see them appear on your warm, glowing face. Everything about you was so lovely that I hoped the honeymoon would never end. But then, just as a bride rounds a corner and catches her bridegroom with a slutty bridesmaid, you turned. Somebody called and left me a message on you, and that's when the betrayal began. This review is from: Motorola DECT 6.0 Cordless Phone with Digital Answering System and Bluetooth L511BT (Office Product) Purchased this to semi-convert my cell phone and my wife's cell phone into a home phone. It does succeed at doing that. The problems with this item are the lack of customization. We do not have a land line home phone. Because of this the phone always shows "NO LINE" in big bold letters on the LCD. To make a call using it you must dial the number (or select it from the phone book) then press the cellular button and then select the phone and then press the cellular button again which is far too many buttons to make a simple call, it's easier to just grab your cell. The buttons are firm and difficult to push. Sound quality is about what was expected. The biggest negatives about this phone are the ring tones. If you have a land line then you'll have 10 ring tones to choose from, 5 rings and 5 melodies. For the cell phones they do not let you select the 5 rings, only the 5 melodies. I do not want my phone to sound like a child's nursery rhyme. Had one of the 5 actual rings been...Read more 6 of 6 people found the following review helpful: By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Motorola DECT 6.0 Cordless Phone with 2 Handsets, Digital Answering System and Bluetooth L512BT (Office Product) I purchased this phone to replace a land line. Connection is through the bluetooth feature to a dedicated cell phone. This phone can not maintain it's bluetooth connection with the cell phone which just sits next to it. It's been a month and just found out, I can no longer return this phone after 30 days. |
