We moved into a brick home with 2 additional rooms and we needed 2 additional handsets to make our intercom complete. The product works exactly as it claims. One of the handsets went to the Storage/Work Shop about 70' from the base set with 3 brick walls between them and it works fine both phone and intercom. Connection to the base set are best made in the main house. Vtech DECT 6.0 Black/White Accessory Handset with Caller ID and Handset Speakerphone (DS6201)
