Northwestern Bell 2.4 GHz Large-Button Enhanced Cordless Phone with Dual Handsets, Call Waiting Caller ID and Digital Answering System (36028-1)

Just so others may know:

I'm old, but that means I have over fifty years experience in using telephones. The Northwestern Bell 2.4Ghz big button cordless is by far the most uncool and obnoxious phone I've ever had or even seen. My wife got it for the big buttons, but that's literally the only good thing about it. The damned thing buzzes and hisses and has a very limited range - my guess is less than 30 feet, but don't rightly know because you can't hear anything for the static after a few feet. It has a totally backasswards memory input making it almost impossible to enter and/or save a number - at least in any way making sense to anyone but maybe a autistic monkey. The phone features an obnoxious blinking light on the antenna which continues to blink day and night unless you physically click through every %^$*&@# call from its memory list to shut it off. I guess the designers figure that's a good point?????
