Amazon.com Product Description
This stylishly modern phone from Northwestern Bell offers a clear 2.4 GHz signal with plenty of range and clarity; it automatically scans though the available channels to keep your conversation clearly audible and static free. The handset's three-line LCD provides access to caller ID/call waiting (if you have a subscription through your local phone service) that lets you know who's calling at a glance, along with storing 80 names and numbers of your most recent callers. Return their calls at the touch of a button with the display-and-dial feature, or add their information to your 20-station phone book for permanent storage.

The handset includes a headset jack and belt clip, and is hearing aid compatible. The volume of both ringer and conversation can be adjusted with the flick of a switch. A built-in AM/FM radio includes a dual-user alarm clock, making it perfect for bedside or guest room use. The manufacturer offers a one-year warranty covering parts and service.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not Good, August 13, 2005
This review is from: Northwestern Bell 36285-1 2.4 GHz Analog Cordless Phone with Clock/Radio and Caller ID (Office Product)
The phone is almost unusable. The volume, even on highest level, is too low to hear. The clock is not lit so that it can be seem with out fumbling for a small button at night.

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Northwestern Bell 36285-1 2.4 GHz Analog Cordless Phone with Clock/Radio and Caller ID (Office Product)
This phone is worthless. The phone does not have a back light, so you cannot read the incoming phone number, or dial in the dark. The clock is on an angle that you have to stand over it to see the time. Frequently I cannot answer a call, or dial a number, as the "Talk" button does not work to answer the call and or open the line to call a phone number. Don't buy it. Unfortuantely my 30 day return limit is past, so I am just out of the money and will now have to go buy a new phone!!!

I bought this for my mother who enjoys having a radio built into the phone she uses in the kitchen. she has had this same model for the past 7 or 8 years and it is an "OK" phone for the old technology I suppose.
