Summary: What a waiste of $$$$ 2010-02-28
Comment: Please DO NOT purchase... This is the one time I can say "SHAME ON YOU". I bought this for my Mom who is blind in one eye. Bad enough her sight is not good, now she couldn't even dial a number (the key pad is very had and sticky, you need to press hard and in the middle of the button.) For anyone who bought this for the braille you would not even know except for the busy signal that your number is not being dialed correctly. You will get frustrated and end up using the programmable number feature. Well I was to lazy to return it and now here I am on Amazon searching for a new phone for Mom. Ended up the sticky key pad is the only thing that worked lol. Phone is unusable.. I can hear her but she cant hear me. Glad she has a spare phone in the kitchen..

Summary: Nice Big Corded Phone! 2008-07-21
Comment: This is a large speakerphone, huge numbers and Caller ID window. It
looks like a kid's first phone! It works just fine with FIOS service.
The phone has basic features, but the best thing is it has very good sound quality, and the Caller ID panel can be read even though it doesn't
have a good backlight in the window. It does light up dimly if you lift the handset, and then the big numbers have a blue light behind them, perhaps for dialing in the dark. It's a cute phone for very little money, if you want a corded speakerphone. It does not come with the power supply, that must be bought separately, but batteries can be used.

Summary: Worked for about a month. 2007-12-06
Comment: I purchased this phone for my elderly mother. I thought that the large keys would work great for her. I programmed the phone with the numbers she wanted, then marked the various keys for easy, two key dialing, then installed the phone. It worked great for about one month. Then, it started to give her a busy signal whenever she tried to place a call. I went back to her apartment and replaced the new phone with the old phone and the old one worked flawlessly. I tried this unit at my house and had the same problem. NW Bell just ain't what it used to be.
