With the Panasonic answering system, you'll never miss important calls, even when the ringer is off. The integrated light-up indicator featured at the base of the handset's antenna will flash quickly when an incoming call is in progress, and will flash slowly to let you know you have a new message. Should you choose to expand the answering system to include additional handsets, each handset can be programmed to ring or simply flash at your discretion. The system is compatible with up to three additional handsets (for a total of four).
In addition to the standard call waiting feature, this system comes with call waiting caller ID2, a feature that allows you to see who's calling you if you're already taking a call. Other great features include a 50-station shared phonebook, a handy charge indicator, a backlit LCD display, and a convenient intercom feature. Providing up to five hours of cordless talk time, the handset's rechargeable Ni-MH battery offers up to 11 days of uncharged standby battery life.

Nice backilit LCD displays on each handset. Tells you if there any answering machine messages or if the line is busy. If there are messages the charging light on phone blinks too. It has the standard any button answer when off the chargers ( 0-9 and # * ) You can set it to the Auto Talk option, Where you answer the phone by lifting it off the base and hang up by placing it back. Both phones have hands free speakerphones built into the handsets and theres also one on the main base. Both phones can share the line at the same time for 3 way conversations. You can use the phones as "Walkie Talkies" either holding them as a regular handset or hands free thru the speakerphones. Uses 2 widely available AAA NIMH batteries per phone. I had a spare set I precharged when the phones were shipped so when they...Read more 16 of 16 people found the following review helpful: By darkguardian2 "darkguardian2" (San Diego, CA United States) - See all my reviews This review is from: Panasonic 5.8 GHZ Expandable Digital Cordless Answering System - Dual Handset System (KX-TG4322B) (Office Product) I purchase this phone for it's solid reviews and performance. Amber back light and answer machine and voice caller id and most important it's Night mode. Night mode turns the ringer off while you sleep for a set period of time that you choose. The main issue is no backlight for keypad. It's a standard feature with a majority of the phones out there but Panasonic didn't think so. Why have a backlight LCD and light marker if you can't see the pad to answer the phone. This to me is a fatal flaw for an otherwise great phone. None of the reviews indicated this obvious obmission. No backlit number pad -- what a downer. 20 of 21 people found the following review helpful: By Thrifty Guru "Morris" (GR, Michigan) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Panasonic 5.8 GHZ Expandable Digital Cordless Answering System - Dual Handset System (KX-TG4322B) (Office Product) Our previous 3 year old cordless SBC phone's battery pack was once again showing signs of impending death. You know the type, the 3 cell pack with the little wires and connector, you pay $13 to $15 for at target or some such.
I'll try not to dygress anymore. We (wife and I) decided on this Panasonic cause it's newer and because of the 2 handsets that can act as home intercom. They work great! Not only do they share the same phone book (50 numbers) but the intercom system thingy works super. When we received the phones, wha.. it came with 4 AA cells in a plastic bag (??). I spent a couple min. trying to open the base, to insert these batteries. To my suprise and glee, they're not for the base, they are NiMH cells for the handsets! Now I never have to get shafted for a silly little battey pack. And to put the star on the tree, the chargers are "smart" they know when the cells are charged and stop charging!!! Yey, yippee!! We've use these for a week and we...Read more |
