With the Panasonic answering system, you'll never miss important calls, even when the ringer is off. The integrated light-up indicator featured at the base of the handset's antenna will flash quickly when an incoming call is in progress, and will flash slowly to let you know you have a new message.
In addition to the standard call waiting feature, this handset comes with call waiting caller ID2, a feature that allows you to see who's calling you if you're already taking a call. Other great features include a 50-station shared phonebook, a handy charge indicator, a backlit LCD display, and a convenient intercom feature. Providing up to five hours of cordless talk time, the handset's rechargeable Ni-MH battery offers up to 11 days of uncharged standby battery life.

The only complaint I have is that the numbers do not light up when dialing, so unless you are in a well-lit room, you will have trouble seeing the numbers. Other than that, I am very satisfied with its performance. It has a very clear signal, which was my main concern. 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful: By This review is from: Panasonic KX-TGA430B Extra Handset for KX-TG432X Series, Black (Office Product) the battery life is terrible, they power off mid conversation and if left uncradled for a day u have to recharge AGAIN for a full day....has a speakerphone feature and for some reason every time i try to use it the phone powers off! when they DO work, they are pretty clear and dont get intereference. intercom feature a plus. 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful: By Elizabeth "bethika" (Santa Barbara, CA United States) - See all my reviews This review is from: Panasonic KX-TGA430B Extra Handset for KX-TG432X Series, Black (Office Product) These phones were fine, but as one other user mentioned, one of my 2 handsets started to lose connection to the base and within a few months the other phone did the same thing. I've had these phones for less than 2 years and expected them to last longer than that.
What happens is that the phone rings, you push on answer, and the phone dies. You cannot turn it back on again without setting it in the cradle. Most of the time, it keeps dying and you don't get to answer the phone unless you luck out. |
