Comment: Perfect, an easily and quickly installed system of a base phone and four handsets on three floors of my house. This set is installed with Vonage, a VOIP system, and works perfectly. Haven't yet assessed battery life

Comment: I bought the five phone system from Amazon to replace an aging Panasonic three phone. The price was right and the new system does the job, but not as impressively. The construction was light plastic and nowhere near the quality of the older system. There is no beacon light to locate the phone in a dark room, although it lights up fine with an incoming call. The sound quality is very good but not up to the standards of the older system. It has a audio caller ID function which reads the caller's name but its a bit difficult to understand. The feature I like the best is the automatic blocking of all calls that do not disclose a phone number. Another plus is that an individual malfunctioning phone set can be easily replaced, a real problem with the old ones.

The individual hand sets are a bit clumsy to handle, but we found that attaching the provided belt clips to the two most used hand sets helped quite a bit. The wireless range seems very adequate. The key pads buttons are large and well enough lit, calling and answering is a breeze. It has a speakerphone function that we haven't tried to use yet.

Comment: After much research I bought this set a few months back to replace an old 900 MHz digital and a more modern (but still dated) 2.4 GHz model. Especially on the latter phone the interference had been terrible, even through just one wall or floor. In contrast, this phone system works great. We now have 5 phones all over the house that are interchangeable. Initially I had started to designate one particular phone for each base location (for paging from other sites) but quickly realized that the phones were being swapped for one another so the paging feature has little use for us (but no fault of the phone, of course). The menu system is intuitive (no need for me to resort to that ultimately unmanly thing of actually looking at the manual).

What prompted me to write this review is that while talking to my wife the other day the signal started to drop a bit for the first time that I've ever heard it do that with this phone. I asked where she was (thinking "oh no, it's going bad after a few months") and was amazed that she had while we were talking put our dog on her leash and walked her up the block to the corner. That's got to be several hundred feet and through multiple walls / obstructions which is incredible to me compared to all previous phones I have owned. Please also keep in mind that our house has a wireless b/g/n router and multiple networked devices adding to the radio 'din'. I actually bought this locally since I rather expected to need to return it but I would heartily recommend buying it online since it is such a great product. Five stars.

Comment: Phone system is great,but delivery service was very,very poor.
I requested and paid for NEXT DAY DELIVERY. It was delivered four days after I bought it.
I ordered it on Thursday for Friday delivery but it was delivered on Monday.
I checked the tracer website,and found out the following.
Shipped from Indianapolis on Thursday,arrived in Memphis on Friday,left on the truck,back to Indianapolis,back to Memphis ,to Cincinnati.
I AM NOT HAPPY.

Comment: This is the best phone system I have put in my house. I love that it mimics a cell phone in the way you access the features. I can get my messages from any phone on the system and the voice caller ID is a blast. I would buy this again and recommend it to anyone.
