Thirty names and numbers may be stored and redialed from the caller ID memory (with subscription to local service), while a separate 50-station phonebook gives access to your most frequently dialed numbers. When the battery starts running low, you'll know instantly, thanks to the indicator light on the three-line, backlit LCD screen on the handset. A digital duplex speakerphone is also built in, permitting hands-free calls with none of the annoying echoes of earlier speakerphone models.
The base incorporates a digital answering system with 15 minutes of message recording time; flexible message maximums can be adjusted from one to four minutes. Simple controls allow you to listen, save, and delete messages easily. You'll have full remote access, complete with toll saver, which prevents long distance charges from accruing when you dial in from across the country and there are no messages. Panasonic includes a one-year warranty covering parts and service.

I've had it for 2 1/2 years and it's worked great. Then, it started dying. I'd speak on it for about 10 minutes, it would start beeping, and then the reception would cut out/die. I replaced the battery, but it still happened. I am so sick of spending good money on top-name electronics and then having them die in 2 years or less. I do not go for cheap, so this is especially distressing. I am not happy with this revelation, but reading all other cordless phone reviews, this one unfortunately got the best one (which is not saying much). I guess I'll have to buy it again, since I need a cordless phone and this gets the best reviews (again, the "best" is not really best, but best out there from what is available). Very maddening indeed. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful: Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) I had a Panasonic phone when I bought this one and I thought this one would be much like it. was wrong. This one is too long, too heavy and the speaker quality is bad. Had I seen a review like this one I would not have bought it. 2 of 3 people found the following review helpful: By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Panasonic GigaRange KX-TG2226WV 2.4 GHz Digital Cordless Phone Answering System (Office Product) This phone is great. I like most things about it. Especially the head set. I have trouble with my arm holding any phone to me ear for too long, and the head set relieves that pain. My only problems would be volume control. I have excellent hearing, but the head set volume doesn't seem to go very high for those people how tend not to talk directly into the mouth piece of thier phone. Think the hand set could stand to be just a little bit smaller too. Other than that, it works well for me. |
