Philips Cordless Phone with Answering Machine (SE6554B/37)

My 5-year old Motorola 5.8 set became erratic and my new FIOS wireless router caused interference, so I needed a DECT 6.0 set. The Panasonic set from Costco was either a very poor design or defective, and I returned it. This set is excellent. It has a color screen and a phone book that is accessible from all handsets, as opposed to being handset specific. I'm not giving it 5 stars as it doesn't have a speakerphone in the base, but only the handsets, although I haven't had complaints from any callers. The handset has a nice shape when holding it, and slides into the base securely without falling over.

A good bundle of features for less. Very stylish and functional. The only difficulty I have with it is setting the time. After I set the time it seems to have its own time reference and falls behind by a few hours. Other than that I would say the phone is a good buy.

Great phone. I had tried more expensive Panasonic and AT&T phone systems before with nothing but disappointment. I had never used a Phillips phone before, on the other hand. I thought I'd give it a try. From the moment it arrived, I just got a good "vibe" about it. It's elegant, yet simple to use. It has worked flawlessly. Buy it..!!
