RCA 5.8 CORDLESS W/ 2-PHONES BUN ( 25880GE3 )

I got this phone for on same for $80 and it does a great job for all of my home telephone needs. The two handsets have a great range from anywhere in my 2 story house. The answering machine can be accessed from the handsets. Plus the three mailboxes rule. There are many features on the handsets and all are easy to use. I like the layout of the features on the base and speaker phone too.

The reason I got it was because I wanted a 5.8 phone that would not interfere with my wifi (my old 2.8 phones were trouble with wifi.) We also needed the 3 mailboxes because my wife and I were able to have separate mailboxes for our business. (With out phone company we have two numbering ringing into the same line and combined with the phone it saves us a lot of money.

I bought this phone 4 months ago. The base unit started to have problem 1 month ago. It kept on reminding me to set up the phone (like power off, and the time went back to 12:00am, monday) about every 3 hours, even at midnight!!! I did the set up of the phone again and again, but this junk kept reminding, reminding... Finally, last week, it started "pop, pop..." and everything on the screen disappeared!
I went online, and read many reviews complaining similar problem. I tried to contact the customer service, but no use.
I hope some lawyers can dig into this and have a class action law suit. At the same time, I am going to write reviews on every forum about this problem!!!!

I can never hear anybody on this phone set, and they can never hear me. I am ready to replace the entire system after 5 months of frustration. I even dug an old phone out the the closet to hold me over. Really, it's worthless if you cannot hear who you are talking to.
