Because the Siemens Gigaset 2410 2.4 GHz cordless phone is expandable, only the base needs to be connected to a jack. You can plug a total of four handset chargers into standard power outlets, and you can operate all four handsets simultaneously without doing additional wiring. For example, while you and another user talk to a third party on an outside line, two other users can talk to each other through the intercom feature on their handsets. You can customize each handset with its own ring tones, personalized directory, and extension name and number.
The Siemens Gigaset 2410 includes a three-line backlit graphical display that provides caller ID/call waiting information and easy access to a call log and all other system features. The handset design includes headset jacks for hands-free use and internal antennas to protect them against damage. This phone comes with a one-year warranty.

It worked like a dream for about one week until we started to notice clips in transmission while speaking and even disconnection if the second line was activated. The idea is excellent and the handsets are easy to use and program. If only Siemens could upgrade the most important part of this system - the transmission. We're in the market for another system now. P.S. Siemens customer service was excellent, they overnighted a new base system to us for exchange. Unfortunately, the problems persisted. 14 of 15 people found the following review helpful: By This review is from: Siemens 2410 Gigaset 2.4 GHz Gray Cordless System with Caller ID (Office Product) Over the past year, I have purchased several makes of the Siemens Gigaset for use both at home and at work. I have used them in a variety of settings including two overlapping bases in the same building. It may be an exaggeration to say that the phone have performed flawlessly, but they are in fact engineering marvels. The features and buttons are laid out nicely. There is a full text menu system with way more features than most people will every figure out how to use. Further, if you buy additional sets you can conference call and intercom between them. The range of the phones is EXCELLENT in a variety of settings. I carry mine out of the house and up to the mailbox. Customer support is EXCELLENT. I called with an operating question and they picked up my call quickly and answered my question quickly, and courteously. I have used a variety of headsets with the phone. It uses a standard 2.5mm electret headset like nearly every other cell phone and cordless...Read more 17 of 19 people found the following review helpful: By A Customer This review is from: Siemens 2410 Gigaset 2.4 GHz Gray Cordless System with Caller ID (Office Product) The Good: Lightweight (like a remote control), expandable to multiple handsets, outlet for headset. The Bad: Lots of static even at close range. I have noticed a periodic clicking sound while talking as well. I could not find any information on the battery life before I bought it. The reason is that it is sub par; Siemens claims 36 hours standby & 4-talk time, but my experience has been 48 & 3. The menu could be much easier to use (3 step process to review caller id) & you cannot do simple functions like save a number from caller ID into memory. I bought this to replace an old Toshiba 900MHZ phone that has degraded in performance even after replacing the batteries. The ironic thing is that my old 900 MHZ phone still performs better than the Siemens. |
