I use this phone now as my primary phone. The GE 28311EE1 eliminated the need to have a LAN line. These phones give you crystal clear communication, no echo like other phones, and the best part is that you no longer need to have PC connected. This has a box that connects directly to your router, you enter you skype account info and you are set. Please note that you need 28310EE1 to make this phone work properly, this is just an additional handset.

Some time it takes time to reconize the numbers you dial, not really sure why. As for the skpe functions they worked great. Love these, This review is from: Skype Embedded Additional Handset for 28310EE1 System (Personal Computers) I purchased the base model new a few years ago and loved it! Just moved to a bigger place and want one in each room! All handsets work from one central access point that has a Ethernet and plain old telephone connection! |
