All call features are accessed through the handset, including a 10-number speed dial, redial, and a permanent flash memory. The handset also features adjustable volume control and your choice of four selectable ring types. The handset provides up to seven hours of talk time and six days on standby and can operate as an intercom between itself and the base unit.
The Sony SPPA941's strengths lie in its answering system; it features three mailboxes with a total of 15 minutes of recording time, remote message retrieval, and voice-guided operation. There's even a visual digital message counter to tell you how many messages have been saved.
