The Sony SPPA946 offers the combined conveniences of a 900 MHz cordless phone with a built-in digital answering system. The analog 900 MHz reception means that you can take the handset even farther away from that base than you normally would with an older phone operating on a lower band, and you will still get clear, reliable reception. The speakerphone capability means that you can converse without the handset, by speaking directly into the base. Use the two-way paging/intercom feature to send an audible signal from the base to the handset and vice versa, so you can summon a coworker or family member, locate the handset, or converse between handset and base. The SPPA946 also offers 20 preset speed-dials for easy two-button dialing.
