Sony SPP-M937 Two-Line 900 MHz Cordless Phone

Sony offers an SPP - M937, a two-line cordless phone. It features 2-Line operation that accesses two separate phone lines from one phone (requires two-line installation from your local telephone company). The 900MHz is used for extended range thanks to superior transmission technology and you can carry your cordless phone further-and still carry on a conversation. When you start walking out of the transmission range, you will be notified with a special alert. Store 10 most frequently needed numbers in memory and access them with a single touch! The base speakerphone feature lets you answer incoming calls at the base. Intercom lets you talk between handset and base unit. Page signal initiates intercom contact in either direction. An intercom function allows you to communicate between the base and the handset, and four-way conferencing lets you communicate with multiple parties (base plus handset plus both lines) at once.

Handset and ringer controls are provided, while the mute button allows you to hear the other party without them being able to hear you. A redial button automatically calls the last outgoing number, and the hold button places the current conversation on hold, allowing you to answer an incoming call on the other line.

Selectable tone and pulse dialing modes are available via a switch on the phone, while a flash button allows you to access call waiting (requires a subscription to a fee-based service). The NiCAD batteries have a 7-hour talk time (up to seven days on standby), and a low battery indicator lets you know when to return the handset to the base for re-charging.

The SPP-M937 weighs 1 pound 5 ounces and has a 7.375-by-8.875-inch footprint. It is also hearing aid compatible and comes with a one-year limited warranty.
