The Toshiba SX2000BK cordless phone combines the advantages of 900 MHz operation, which provides superior performance compared with older phones operating on a lower band, with 20-channel auto scan and digital spread spectrum transmission technology for improved clarity and security.

Features include 10 speed-dial presets, three-line backlit LCD, any key answering, and hearing aid compatibility. The handset controls include volume, flash, redial, pause, mute, ringer volume, and programmable security code. The base pager locates a misplaced handset, and the wall mount saves desk space. The SX2000BK is powered by a replaceable ni-cad rechargeable battery providing up to seven days of standby. The whole unit is supported by a one-year warranty on parts and labor.

Cheap phone. It has very dirty sound. Range is way under what is expected for a 900 MHz DSS phone. You get what you pay for.

This phone works fine, but its definitely bigger than most phones. That makes it uncomfortable to carry around or hold. It also doesn't have a lighted keypad. So I returned this one and got the Panasonic 900MHz Gigarange. It's much smaller and has a lighted keypad. I've had a Panasonic in the past and the sound and quality is amazing.

I bought this phone about a year ago, and love it. The sound quality is great. The distance it can travel is amazing! I went about 200 yards from the charger and got barely any static/interference at all. The Battery life is also good. It has never died on me. It can take a beating pretty well. I Unfortunately put it through too much. I was very unhappy having to replace it and so far I havent found one that even compares to this phone.
