Trimline® Telephone with Caller Id and Call Waiting

It's a plain old-fashioned wall phone that uses no electricity and is good quality. Sounds simple, but this kind of phone is almost impossible to find these days. The best features are: (1) the touch-tone pad is on the receiver, so you don't have to stand right at the base to dial (you can go sit somewhere comfy), (2) it works even if there is a power outage, (3) it has caller id. (Use of the caller id does require batteries, but not electricity.) The caller id display could be a little easier to read, but it's not bad -- about the same as most other phones.

I needed a new phone that had a battery powered caller ID because I don't have a convenient electric outlet at the phone location. I saw this phone and thought I would give it a try. It has meet my expectations. The only thing I don't like is that the caller ID is not lighted, and it is hard to read in my light situation. I would by this phone again, though.
