Product Review

You'll love that this Uniden Caller ID/ Call Waiting capable phone has DECT 6.0 technology. That's the best clarity available! If you subscribe to Caller ID/ Call waiting through your local phone company this phone will hold 50 names and numbers. With or without Caller ID/ Call Waiting the phone can hold up to 100 names and numbers in its phone book. It's easy to multitask with this phone because of its handset speakerphone and because you can intercom other phones within the system and can transfer calls between phones. It's expandable up to 12 handsets with using only one phone jack and is compatible with the Uniden DRX100 range extender. The message waiting indicator light on your handsets will tell you when there's a new voice mail. The Eco-mode automatically manages your power consumption for a longer battery life. Need some quiet time? Silence all ringers at once with a quick touch of the button.

I have used Uniden phones for years, sought them out, because I have always had good luck with them. Until this phone... I bought this one for my home office, it had the speakerphone and mute function that I needed. From the get-go I started having trouble with it. My biggest issue with it is that it drops calls.... sort of. At first I thought the call was dropping, but then came to realize it just goes dead during calls, for 30 - 60 seconds. If I stay on the line, the call will return and all will be well for a while. I am usually on conference calls, so after sticking on the line during this dead time, suddenly I'll be back on the call and everyone is talking like nothing wrong.... I just missed a chunk of the conversation. During the 'dead' period, you can't 'flash' or press any buttons. If you disconnect, you won't be able to use the phone for a period of time while it's "searching". I can't have an unreliable phone like this for my work, so am replacing it today...Read more

i really like uniden phones but this one disappointed me. Both worked great for a week or so just long enough I bought my parents one and then one quit working. Wouldn't answer calls and would disconnect during a conversation, and didn't stay charged while on the base. It got returned!

This phone was terrible, I have phone service from optimum online and it would flash the screen every few minutes like a call was coming in and tell me "incomplete data". This made it extremely annoying but what made it totally unusable was that if you started dialing and it decided to flash "incomplete data" on the screen it would lose the number entirely. Additionally, one of the phones screens died after only a few days use.
