The system is expandable with up to four handsets; three are included in the package. You can transfer incoming calls between each handset and speakerphone on the base, and make use of the convenient hands-free design by using the included belt clip and built-in headset jack (headsets available separately). Easily adjust handset and ringer volume levels to your comfort, and set the handset LCD menu to one of three menu languages (English, French, or Spanish). A page button lets you quickly locate the handset if it's strayed under the couch cushions.
A digital answering system is built into the base; call screening and recording are available from the handset as well. The base and charger are wall mountable, or each can sit sturdily on a countertop, giving you plenty of display options, and a total of 20 different ring tones (10 tones, 10 melodies) give you a variety of choices. Uniden provides a one-year warranty covering parts and service.
What's in the Box:
Three cordless handsets, base with answering system, two handset chargers, three belt clips, three batteries, three AC adapters, telephone line cord, user's manual, warranty card

I am going to be honest. I don't know maybe I have just had problems with this brand because this is not the only set of Uniden phones that did not work for me. First of all, the features are excellent. Some are more neccessary for the average person than others, but all are cool. It is also a great value for the price. I think that this is one of the best deals that I have seen in cordless telephones. The main problem for me was interference. The static was minimal with most of the household electronics, but then it went up to very irritating if I used the dishwasher, dryer, or washing machine. I don't mean if I was standing next to these things. It didn't matter where I was in my 1010 square foot apartment. I know that the area is small for most of you, but the size should not matter for an item that you need to use everyday. Well, that is not the worst part. The kicker is that the static got so heavy with the microwave being...Read more 9 of 12 people found the following review helpful: By This review is from: Uniden DCT758-3 Expandable Cordless System with Digital Answering System and Call Waiting/Caller ID (Office Product) Sound quality has been OK with this phone, but not really better than any others I've tried. One major problem is that when someone calls you long-distance and you want to call them back from the Caller-ID listing, this phone does not allow you to easily add a "1" before you dial. Instead it lists it like 456-450-5015. When I dial, I get the standard phone company message saying I need to dial the 1 first. Most phones come with a "format" button that allows you to add the 1 automatically before you dial out. If this wasn't bad enough, when you go to store a LD number in the phonebook, it also does not add the 1 and in fact you cannot even scroll over to the left to add the 1. Instead you have to delete the number and then re-enter it with the 1, so you pretty much have to either write the number down or memorize it. This completely defeats the purpose of the "Store Number" feature. Very annoying. How could Uniden not know about dialing 1 for...Read more 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful: By This review is from: Uniden DCT758-3 Expandable Cordless System with Digital Answering System and Call Waiting/Caller ID (Office Product) I'm pretty satisfied with this phone for the price. ($60) The phone is small and a nice design. My main purpose for purchasing the phone was for the intercom and it works great. You can call either handset without bothering the other person. You can also program the directory and share with all handsets, you don't have to program each phone. You can also check messages with all handsets. Multiple ringer selection. All handsets also have a speakerphone. Overall, I have 3 phones (+base), intercom, monitor and an answering machine all in one. |
