Uniden DECT 6.0 Digital Cordless Phone with Caller ID and Two Extra Handsets (DECT1560-3)

Comment: I wish the phone had a different means of checking the caller ID. It has a toggle that you have to use for the caller ID and phone book. It works just fine, but could be a little more user friendly. The phone is lightweight and has good sound. I like that you can change the ringers for different callers like a cellular phone.

Comment: It is not unusual to be talking and all of a sudden get cut off, with the phone indicating an "Out of Range" message. When this occurs I discovered that turning the phone off and then back on quickly will sometimes reconnect me. Another issue is that the phone will cut off the other person if it senses any background noise making it difficult to do some other things (e.g., washing dishes) while talking. This makes it almost seem like a walkie talkie since you cannot hear the other party. We have had this phone over 2 years and the button that activates the address book no longer works. I do not recommend this phone.

Comment: The phone are great. I love being able to put different ring tones for different people. My only complaint is the phone book. You have to put the numbers in to each phone. The last phones I bought if you add to one phone it put it on all the phones.

Comment: It was a very pleasant surprise to find such a great set of cordless phones without an answering machine. I used it to connect to my Magic Jack. It transmits the calls all over house without any interference. Each phone can be labled as to its location so you know which cradle it came from. You can program phone numbers into the memories of all of the other units from one phone.
I am quite satisfied with this purchase.

Comment: soooo happy with these phones. exactly what you would expect at this price point. FEATURE I LOVE is being able add to the phonebook on any handset, and then copy it (quickly too!) to all your other handsets!! LOVE THAT! A+ uniden!
