In today's economy, there are many of us who quiet honestly are looking for value with "price". If you are looking for a new phone system, this is definitely a great purchase for the price. Cordless phones have all sorts of features now-a-days, and one has to wonder, how many of us use some of those "niffy" features we pay for but never use.
This Uniden phone system has the basics most use and need. It has caller id with call waiting. So, with this unit, you will know who is calling before you answer. Then, if you are "yacking" away as I have a tendency to do, it will alert you if someone is "beeping" in. If you subscribe for voice mail with your phone company, then the handsets will alert you with a blinking light that you "have voice mail". Easy simple to use one touch button on the handsets to access that voice mail.
The technology is DECT 6.0. This seems to be the "going" technology today, but with electronics constantly changing, I am sure soon...Read more

Not only affordable, but they work great! Clear voice, long distance from the set clarity. Nice ring tone. Just the love sets. They were shipped fast as well! Bought another set for my mom. I love that only 1 set needs a phone jack. Now I have a phone in a room with no jack.

Ordered this phone and was so pleased with it, I have ordered another one. It has absolutely clear, crisp sound with no buzz, crackling sounds, loss of signal, or interference whatsoever. As as test, I took the phone all the way to the picnic table that sits by the lake my house backs to, some fifty yards away from the phone's home base. You see, my cell phone is just not capable to receive (let alone make calls) in that area, for some odd reason my cell phone provider can't figure out. Well, I was just amazed that this phone got a dial tone, I was able to make a call, and the call worked as if I had been no more than two feet away from the home base! Folks,I have indeed ordered another one of these jewels and I would indeed recommend this phone to anyone who wants a long-range, clear, crisp phone that works exactly as advertised. What a refreshing surprise these days and times!
