Summary: GREAT PHONES!!!! 2010-08-22
Comment: We have used many types of cordless phones in the house and these are the best so far. Our house is a two story home and we also have a tendancy to carry the phones on the deck and in the work shop. We have had no issues with distance. We also have a LOT of wireless devices in the house, to include a wireless network (5gig), a wireless printer, a ROKU box , a desktop, 2 laptops and 2 Wii's all sending signals through the house and have had no interference. We are using Vonage on the phones so it is nice to be able to have multiple phones in the house and only need one phone jack (for the corded phone). If you are looking for a phone to use throughout your house with just one phone jack or a vonage device this is the phone for you. I gave the battery 4 stars only because we have only had this for about two weeks and we have not had an issue yet but these things sometimes happen with time.

Comment: I am very happy with my phones. After looking at several Uniden phones I mixed up some of the features with other models. I have had nothing but luck with the Uniden name brand and will not buy anything other than the Uniden brand. My model does not have a socket for using a headset and it doesn't have a clip to hang it from my pocket, two things I really needed. Because I work from home there are several features that my phone must have. Other than the goofy mistake that I made, I LOVE my phone system. I have 3 kids and my phones end up take LOTS of abuse. Over the years, I have found them outside after several days in the rain, outside for several days in the hot summer sun, outside after several days and chewed up by one of the dogs, but the most memorable time was when my toddler apparently threw one of the phones in the trash and days later just before the trashmen showed up to collect the old stinky garbage, we used the "find phone" feature to track down the phone in the bottom of the dumpster. These are just some of the reasons that I will now only buy Uniden, great phones, they really take a licking and keep on ticking.

Comment: These are great phones. Only thing missing would be a belt clip. The DECT 6.0 seems to be alot better than the 5.8 systems as far as range and sound quality. I have own both the 2.4 and 5.8 Uniden. Uniden makes great phones.

Comment: We have the Uniden cordless phone, and recently had some problems with the battery lasting less than a day on a charge. Consequently, I tried to call customer service, however Uniden only offers email customer service. I finally found a Texas number for them where one has to pay to call them
This is a far cry from Panasonic or Sony which both offer free, toll-free support. Apparently, Uniden is too cheap to offer a toll-free support number, and they want you to pay for the phone call. To add insult to injury, when I did finally call their pay support number, I had to wait twenty minutes for someone to answer. Simply pathetic. I would avoid this company. Apparently Uniden does not want to put any money towards customers, so why should customers pay for their phones?

Comment: Recently purchased this phone after having one bad experience and one good with uniden. I must say I am more than pleased with this product. My main goal with a new phone was reception distance, and with almost an acre of land, it is hard for me to get the phones to cut out. I also have the base unit within a couple feet of my wireless router and have yet to hear any interference. Great phones, easy to use, and comfortable too. I would highly recommend them to anyone!
