This review is from: Uniden DECT4066 DECT6.0 2-Line Caller ID Phone Base Keypad and Speakerphone (Electronics) I've been happy with this Uniden DECT4066 phone. It's not perfect, but it is the best I've found. I previously purchased an RCA Dect 2-line phone from a local office supply company, which was so bad I couldn't wait to take it back. The Uniden phone has excellent range (I can take it to my neighborhood pool, about 400 feet away from my house). The call clarity is very good. I've had no one complain about not being able to hear me clearly. This phone is a slimmer model than the older Uniden phones I used to have. I like the buttons on those better. I guess because of trying to make it slimmer, these buttons don't seem to be as easy to dial quickly (I'm less sure when I've pressed a key or not). But these buttons are much better and much more responsive than on the RCA phone. The belt clip on this phone is MUCH better than on previous Uniden phones. On the phones, the belt clip would pop off fairly easily. These are a bit harder to...Read more 8 of 9 people found the following review helpful: By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Uniden DECT4066 DECT6.0 2-Line Caller ID Phone Base Keypad and Speakerphone (Electronics) We recently had an old AT&T cordless die. One of the features I loved about that phone was it's great color display on the hand sets, very easy to read in all condition.s However, this time around I wanted a phone that supported two lines. We use the Ooma VOIP phone service (premium version) and I did not want an answering machine. Your options for a phone of this nature are pretty limited, but I liked the looks of this model and the reviews on similar models are pretty good so I went with it. First the good:
- The hands sets are small and good looking and so far we have had no problems with reception anywhere in our house (the AT&T was top rated in it's time, but had problems reaching some parts of the house); - The system more-or-less has all the features we wanted. You can call the VOIP voice mail from any handset, but you have to set up each hand set separately even though the concept of global settings is supported by the system. - The...Read more 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful: By ajaj (Woodbury, NY) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) Love the 2-line access on all handsets, and the range is excellent. I recently went out onto the street in front of my house, we have a long driveway, & the reception was crystal clear. Speakerphone is also very clear. The only thing I didn't love is how lightweight the handsets and cradles are. Feel very cheap, but I've gotten used to it. All in all, extremely pleased! |
