Summary: Not a quality phone. 2010-07-23
Comment: I bought this phone because it was inexpensive and thought it was a good phone. I've owned the phone for 1 year and have had many problems with it. It dies very very quickly, you can't switch from one hand set to another. Now I'm on my way to purchasing another phone set. What a waste of money.

Summary: Disappointed in sound quality and in Amazon 2010-07-11
Comment: Not only was I disappointed in the sound (there was an echo or unclear sound; also the sound kept going in and out as the phone was being used in conversation); I was also disappointed in the order from Amazon. The package was missing a second battery and cover for the extra handset. I called Uniden support, and they said it should have had the second battery and would send me one if I sent them the receipt. I did so, and am waiting to get a response. Should Amazon take any responsibility for this missing part?

Comment: So far the phones work well and no problems. I would not recommend purchasing as your main phones. Not many features and has no indicator to show you the level of the battery charge. To me, that is a deal breaker. Other than that, they work well. I would spend a little more next time and purchase something a little better.

Comment: These are very cheap basic models. They do not light up when ringing. Sound quality is very poor, if there is any noise in your house it amplifies through the phone and you cannot hear the other person on the line.

Comment: Not a great phone, but acceptable for use in Japan because it's 5.8GHz. Cons- Ringer volume is not adjustable on second handset, I frequently hang up on callers when I rest my chin against the handset. Pros- cheap, 2 handsets, easy set up. I would recommend looking for another phone.
