The dual speakerphones (both on handset and base) let you talk hands-free or get the whole family in on the conversation. And yes, the phone does feature the basics, like flash, pause, hold, and redial with memory storage of the last three numbers dialed. In addition, you can dial either from the handset or from the base. The phone is expandable to accommodate additional handsets. An NiMH battery and 90-day warranty are included.

When I went out looking for a new phone I was trying to get a phone without the same kind of lighted large round buttons that had the problem but most of the phones (uniden and all the others) had this kind. This phone has smaller (but not tiny) not lighted buttons but the large orange display lights the area enough for me to make a call if its dark. The large orange display is very easy to read and you don't have to be right on top of the phone to see it. Excellent!
