This review is from: Vtech DECT 6.0 Black/White Accessory Handset with Caller ID and Handset Speakerphone (DS6201) (Office Product) I had started with the Base unit with 3 stations. Because of the performance, range, and ease of locating a hand set base near any electrical outlet. I have order 4 additional phones. The sound is very clear and I have not experienced any fading even walking a few doors down the street. I have had other digital phones in the past and this is by far superior to all of them. I ordered the phone through Amazon.com and the price and delivery were excellent. Because of my experience with Amazon.com I have begun ordering many additional items from them. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful: By This review is from: Vtech DECT 6.0 Black/White Accessory Handset with Caller ID and Handset Speakerphone (DS6201) (Office Product) We purchased these phones in 2004 (maybe early 2005). They have outlasted other brands including Uniden and another Vtech phone. They are simple to learn how to use, the backlighting isn't harsh, and we've enjoyed they've lasted through many thousands of hours of phone time. The speakerphone is GREAT!! It can be either really loud (for us we love that since we're both hard of hearing) or quiet enough to not wake the next person in the other room. All in all this is a great phone. The only thing we would change about it is having the auto ring on/off ability. So that we don't have to manually turn the phones up/on in the mornings and down/off at night. Definitely a 5 star phone. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful: By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) Now that all the phones in our house sync with the answering machine phone; I love the convenience of having all the phone numbers in our memory showing up on all the phones in the house, and I can now check the answering machine from any phone in the house. The expansion phones also get their signal from the answering machine phone line, so none of the expansion handsets require a phone jack. They only need a power source. This allows us to put a phone in a room with no phone jack because all we have to do is plug the phone into the wall and it gets it's phone-line signal from the answering machine handset. So cool! We used to have all different kinds of phones in the different rooms of our house. It used to display "missed call" on the Vtech display when I answered any other phone besides the Vtech answering machine phone... but now that all the phones in...Read more |
